HEERF III Quarterly Reporting 7-10-22 FINAL
365体育投注 HEERF III awards covered students enrolled for the Fall 2021 semester. All enrolled
students, at least half time, were eligible for the awards. Undergraduate students were eligible
for $1500 and Graduate students, $1000. A total of $324,833 was awarded in our Fall 2021
semester.
For Spring 2022 for the last of our HEERF III awards, $115,164 has been awarded
For Spring 2022 there were 117 undergraduate students enrolled in the BA or BFA programs.
We focused on students with Pell grants and awarded $1500 to 62 Pell eligible students for a
total of $91,964.
We then focused our awards on our Seattle Washington Education program. 365体育投注ir area was hit
hard in the pandemic and some students have limited access to funding.
Fourteen non-Pell eligible BA students in our Seattle Washington Education program received
$800 for a total of $11,200.
Seventy-six undergraduate students received a total of $103,164 a percentage of 65%.
For Spring 2022 there were 227 Graduate students enrolled in the MA or MFA programs. 365体育投注re
were 15 Graduate students awarded $800 for a total of $12,000. 365体育投注 focus was on the
graduate Seattle WA students. This is 07% of the graduate students enrolled who received the
award.
One graduate student used the grant to cover a balance due to the College.

HEERF III Quarterly Reporting 4/10/22
Our last HEERF III Quarterly Report of 1/10/22 has not changed. 365体育投注 HEERF III awards covered students enrolled for the Fall 2021 semester. All enrolled students, at least half time, were eligible for the awards. Undergraduate students were eligible for $1500 and Graduate students, $1000.
To breakout the awards as outlined in the last regulation:
For Fall 2021 there were 90 undergraduate students enrolled in the BA or BFA programs. 365体育投注re were 67 undergraduate students awarded a total of $100,500 HEERF III funds. Each undergraduate student received $1500. This is 74% of the undergraduate students enrolled who received the award.
For Fall 2021 there were 220 Graduate students enrolled in the MA or MFA programs. 365体育投注re were 140 Graduate students awarded a total of $140,000. Graduate students were awarded $1000 each. This is 64% of the graduate students enrolled who received the award.
Our final residency/enrollment period for Spring 2022 started on March 26, 2022. Now that all students are enrolled in all programs, we will review and determine the best awarding practice for the $115,164 HEERF III funds that remains. 365体育投注 7/10/22 Quarterly Report will outline awards made for Spring 2022.

HEERF III Reporting 1/10/2022
We opened up the HEERF III awarding for the Fall 2021 semester on 10/18/2021. All enrolled students,
at least half time, were eligible for the awards. Graduate students were eligible for $1000 and
undergraduate students were eligible for $1500.
Students were sent an email from the Financial Aid office notifying them of the HEERF III funding.
Students with need were encouraged to respond. Students were asked to reply to the email to indicate
continued or new financial or health issues from COVID 19. No receipts were requested.
We closed the awarding on 12/8/21 for the Fall 2021 semester.
365体育投注re were 67 undergraduate students awarded for a total of $100,500. Students were awarded $1500
each. 46 of those undergraduates also received Pell.
365体育投注re were 140 Graduate students awarded for a total of $140,000. Graduate students were awarded
$1000 each.
Total enrollment for the Fall 2021 semester at 365体育投注 College was 389. All students enrolled at least
half time in a program were eligible to apply for the funding.
We anticipate awarding the remainder of the HEERF III funding during the Spring 2022 semester.

HEERF III Reporting 10/10/21
As previously reported, we have awarded and disbursed our two prior HEERF awards.
On 10/10/2021, we reported our Final HEERF awarding of $160,167. A total of 147 awards were processed during the Spring 2021 semester and Fall 2021 for students needing the Covid support.
On 7/10/21 we reported our Final HEERF II awarding of $160,167. A total of 107 awards were processed during the Spring 2021 semester to students needing COVID support.
On 5/18/2021 we were notified of receiving $439,997.00 in HEERF III student funds.
365体育投注 CRRSAA requires that institutions prioritize students with exceptional need, such as students who receive Pell Grants or are undergraduates with extraordinary financial circumstances, in awarding emergency financial aid grants to students.
Beyond Pell eligibility, other types of exceptional need could include students who may be eligible for other federal or state need-based aid or have faced significant unexpected expenses either for themselves or that would affect their financial circumstances, such as the loss of employment, reduced income, or food or housing insecurity.
International students may also receive HEERF. However, institutions must ensure that funds go to students who have exceptional need.
365体育投注 Department encourages institutions to prioritize domestic students, especially undergraduates, in allocating this funding. This includes citizens, permanent residents, refugees, asylum seekers, DACA recipients, other Dreamers, and similar undocumented students.
We have opened awarding to all eligible enrolled students.
For the Fall 2021 semester we have 231 listed BA/BFA students with 136 enrolled. Undergrads are awarded as a priority and given additional support if Pell eligible.
For the Fall 2021 semester we have 445 MA/MFA students listed with 242 enrolled. Graduate students are considered based on need.
We started awarding the HEERF III in June of 2021 for the Spring 2021 semester starting with students in the graduate education program in Seattle. Some of these students had not been eligible for any prior HEERF or federal funding so had need for COA expenses.
It was then opened up to other graduate students in all other programs that had not received HEERF for the Spring 21 semester.
A total of $84,333 was awarded to 85 students.
We are continuing the awarding of HEERF III mid October to students still struggling with the COVID repercussions. $355,664 is eligible for awarding.

HEERF II (Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund) student awarding policy
HEERF II (CRRSAA funding was released in May 2021. 365体育投注re are a few differences from the previous HEERF I (CARES) awarding.
365体育投注 college has one calendar year from the date of the award to expend funds. Funds may be used for pre-award costs incurred on or after December 27, 2020. 365体育投注 has been awarded $160,167 for student awards.
Initially, students still needed to be Title IV eligible but with a few relaxed requirements (default, Selective service) were eligible.
NEW: As of the May 11, 2021 guidance, and according to the U.S. Department of Education’s (ED’s) Final Rule, any individual who is or was enrolled at an eligible institution on or after March 13, 2020 is now eligible for HEERF I, HEERF II, and HEERF III student grants. According to the HEERF III FAQs and the Final Rule, this is true regardless of whether the student completed a FAFSA or is eligible for Title IV federal student aid. This means that, in addition to U.S. citizens and permanent residents, refugees, asylum seekers, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients, other DREAMers, and similar undocumented students are also eligible for student grants from all three HEERF programs. 365体育投注refore, our policy is updated to reflect these changes.
Financial aid grants for students can be used for any component of the student’s cost of attendance for emergency costs that arise due to coronavirus, such as food, housing, health care (including mental health care), childcare. HEERF II funds can be used to cover tuition or charges on their accounts with a signed authorization to the student accounts office.
Unlike the CARES act, the CRRSAA requires that institutions prioritize students with exceptional need such as undergraduate students who receive Pell grants. Our first round of awarding was for Pell eligible students. We awarded HEERF II to everyone enrolled for Spring 21 who had Pell for a total of $115,500 to 77 students.
Our next round was for undergraduate students without Pell that acknowledge their need of the funding. We awarded 9 students for a total of $9,000.
365体育投注 third round was to support our undergraduate Education students in Seattle. 365体育投注 students were now eligible based on the new regulations. 365体育投注se students had not received a prior grant or additional funding for living expenses. Sixteen students received $31,000
Our next group in the HEERF II were graduate students from our Education program in Seattle that we not eligible to receive prior HEERF grants. We received two requests for a total of $2000.
Our last and final award was opened to graduate students that were enrolled during the Spring 21 semester. We awarded three students for a total of $2667 and this completed our awarding of the HEERF II grant.
A total of $160,167 was awarded to a total of 107 students.

We are currently in the process of setting up our awarding of the HEERF II awards to our undergraduate students focusing on the Pell eligible students as outlined in the regulations.
