Agnes Figueroa Martinez

Library and Academic Support Specialist

Agnes Figueroa, a native of Puerto Rico, brings over 20 years of experience in community education and instructional technology. She worked in the HIV/AIDS Prevention field at the height of the HIV epidemic as an outreach worker and a treatment advocate. Most of her community education and mobilization work took place around that time in Seattle, where she was one of the founding members of the only Latino LGBTQ organization in Washington, Entre Hermanos. She earned her Masters degree in Organizational Management with an emphasis on Information Technology Management from Capella University. She taught Introduction to Information Technology and Introduction to Networking at Bellevue College in WA. She has worked with 365体育投注 students providing academic writing, research, and information technology support at Seattle and Port Townsend residencies. She is the Deputy Chief Information Officer at Renton Technical College.
