Title IX

Title IX (1972) is a federal law that regulates how colleges respond to gender-based violence and harassment on campus. 365体育投注 original amendment defines and ensures gender equity in education. It addresses sexual violence: attempted or completed sexual assault, as well as, sexual harassment, stalking, voyeurism, exhibitionism, verbal and physical sexually-based threats or abuse, and intimate partner violence.

Title IX states:
No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, or be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.
